Available Cats

Click on the picture to read about the cat and see more pictures.

New cats are added as they are come in to the PAW Society’s Cat Adoption Program. Check back often to see who’s new and who’s been adopted.

We hope you enjoy reading the cat's stories.  Most of the cats are in the mature age bracket.  Cats in their middle years are in the prime of their lives with many wonderful attributes and many years yet to give and receive love.

Where do the adoption cats come from?

When you read the individual cat stories, you will find out where each cat came from -- to the best of our knowledge.  Sometimes there is very little previous history as PAW’s main focus is the rescue of adult stray cats. We make up for it by giving you lots of information about what we know about each cat now!

Some of the cats are ones that have been returned after having been originally adopted from PAW.  Unfortunately, after many years, returns make up a significant percentage of the cats we have available.  Cats are usually returned through no fault of theirs and are just as deserving of finding new homes as any.

Occasionally, PAW will accept a cat from an owner-surrender situation.
From time to time, we may have kittens available to adopt.  Usually they too have come to us as strays.

How can I meet one of the Adoption Cats?

PAW will make arrangements for you to meet the cat(s).  All available adoption cats are living with foster families.

If you have looked at all the cats above and you cannot decide which cat(s) you would like to meet, a PAW adoption counsellor will be happy to make a suggestion or two. You may even be surprised by an invitation to meet a cat that is not yet on the website.

When you are ready, don’t be shy!  Contact PAW by telephone or click on the adoption inquiry link below.  We will be happy answer any questions you may have about the adoption process or the adoption cats.
