History:
Meredith was returned to PAW along with Abbey.  They were adopted together as young kittens in early 2007 but came back to PAW in early 2009 after a family went through a divorce and the cats were no longer wanted.  Such a sad event for these two precious cats! 

Personality:
Meredith is a little trooper and even though her displacement was very upsetting for her, she gradually began to make little forays in to other parts of the house. How else was she going to make sense of her new world?  The transition for Meredith took several months. She was not afraid of people, just the other cats.  Integration with other pets can take time, every cat is different. When spoken to, Meredith answers in the most adorable, squeaky little voice, then lies down and rolls around in anticipation of a love session.  She is all about giving kisses!  These days, she charges around the house as though she she owns the place! She also has no problem sticking up for herself around the other cats.  When she is intent on playing with her little toys, she is a joy to watch.  Meredith likes to be picked up and is very gentle with people of all ages.
