Emmy Ru

Emmy-Ru

Emmy-Ru
Color: DSH White with Gray Tabby Markings (Blue eyes)
Age: Born approx. October 17, 2004
Gender: Spayed Female

History:
Emmy-Ru came running to the entrance of the hospital emergency department for several days in a row until finally someone gathered her up and took her home.  Even though she had the appearance of being an owned cat because of a little pink colour, it was quite clear she hadn't had a meal in awhile.  She did nothing but eat and sleep for a few days.  Initially she was kept in her rescuer's garage but it didn't take long for her to be invited into the house.  Her rescuer advertised her in the newspaper and on posters, but no one answered.  Shortly thereafter, PAW agreed to help with her situation.  At her vet assessment, a tummy shaving revealed a spay scar and an age estimate was given of between four and five years.

Personality:
In Emmy-Ru's foster home there are two adopted PAW cats.  They are like teenage boys (rascally) and sometimes they are a little much for Emmy Ru.  But she continues to manage, quite well in fact, and she has not given up on her desire to have another cat groom her.  Obviously this little lady had a cat friend that used to do this for her.  She often flops down beside one of the boys, legs stretched out, inviting some gentle attention (she gets their attention, it's just not always that gentle!).  This pretty blue-eyed girl loves people (is a little shy when she meets new ones) and would be an awesome little friend to share your life with.  Cats make us better human beings.
