Devon

Devon
Color: Short Haired Siamese Cross, light brown points, lynx facial features
Age: Born Approx. June, 2008
Gender: Neutered Male

History:
Like so many other strays, it is defies reason why a nice little cat like Devon would be homeless. He appeared at a Lethbridge doorway late one night in November, 2009. When invited to come in, he did not hesitate to accept. Despite the fact there were several resident cats milling around him, he headed straight for a food bowl. The homeowner thought surely she was looking at a beautiful owned cat that simply needed help finding his way home -- but no one came forward to claim him. Devon was literally starving and in fact, a few days later, the poor little fellow threw up bark mulch (the kind used around shrubs). How sad that he had been desperate enough to eat that!  The homeowner feels he may have been eating at her outside food bowl (for a "resident" stray) but because Mr. Racoon was raiding the food, the bowl was no longer being left out overnight.  If that was Devon's food source, he would have been without food for about a week.

Devon was subsequently health checked, vaccinated and neutered.

Personality:
Devon is a darling boy! You can see by the above picture just how plush and soft his coat is.  He is gentle, playful and has very good manners. He is very comfortable with being indoors (probably to his great relief). He is currently in a foster home with no other pets. His foster parents are enjoying this affectionate little gentleman and Devon especially loves it when they play with him. He has the cutest little blue eyes - as crossed as can be! He is very quick to close his little peepers when the camera flashes (but they really do open wider than his pictures show).
