Charlie

Charlie

Charlie
Color:     DLH Black & White
Age:       Born approx. April 30, 2007
Gender: Neutered Male

History:
Charlie was adopted from PAW when he was a “juvie” kitten – about three and a half months old.  He and his one week old siblings had been found abandoned in the coulees, along with their mom, Alberta Rose.  All were rescued by PAW.  In August, 2007, we thought Charlie had found his forever home when he was adopted along with his brother, Ren.  Unfortunately, the adopters returned both cats to PAW in March, 2009, for reasons that were never made clear. Charlie and his brother, Ren, have been in foster care since their return.

Personality:
Charlie likes to hang out with his foster mom. During the night, if she is laying on her side, Charlie gently places his paws on her hip.  He prefers it if the other cats stay off the bed but yet he gets along just fine with all the pets in the household, including the dogs.  If it gets too crowded on the bed, he moves to the floor, but remains on foster mom's side.  When she sprinkles catnip on the scratching post, Charlie really goes at it!  He is both lovable and loving and especially enjoys following foster mom around, chatting with her or even better if she grabs a string toy and plays with him. Charlie and Ren are not in the same foster home and seem to be doing very well despite being split up. Both have very nice personalities.

Charlie is shown here snoozing with one of the foster family's resident cats, Princess, once a PAW cat herself. You can see that Charlie is a good-sized boy.
