What service does it provide? The Cat Compassion Centre is where cats who do not have a forever home yet, or do not have an available foster home, stay for the time before they are adopted. The C.C.C. is staffed by PAW volunteers and is funded by donations. The Cat Compassion Centre is a cage-free environment. There are scratching posts and toys for the cats to enjoy themselves, as well as hiding places for those cats who need some time to themselves.

Can I visit? Yes! Anyone is welcome to come and visit, spend time with the cats, or choose a new friend to bring home. Everyone at the Centre is very friendly and we are always willing to answer your questions and talk with you. Come on in!

Can I get involved? Definately! PAW is always looking for volunteers to help out in many ways. There is so much to be done and so many cats to love and rescue. Consider spending one day a week with us, or a couple evenings or weekends. Any time spent giving to animals in need is always time well spent! Above all the rooms are areas where the cats can be high above, sleeping or watching, or hiding if they feel like being alone. There are kitty beds and litter boxes available on these platforms. You can also see the catwalks easily in this picture.
This is the hallway at the centre. There are separate smaller rooms with scratching posts and litter boxes, food & water, and many toys. You can see the catwalks that have been built across the top, so the cats can go across from side to side.
This is the front of the centre and the front window. Tall scratching posts decorate the front, and a wide window ledge gives the cats an area to sleep in the sun or stretch out and watch the goings-on outside.
Above the front door is another ledge with a window, where the cats can find peace and rest, and be alone if they want to. Beds and blankets are available for their comfort.
