History: 
Nicky's mom was a little feral cat and sadly, she escaped from the garage 
that she and her four kittens had been temporarily brought in to.  The 
person's intention was to get the mom spayed and find the kittens homes. This 
event happened in the early winter, so without their mom, the kittens were 
brought indoors and the socialization process began.  Two of his siblings have 
already found homes and his sister, Indy, is currently in a PAW foster home, 
also waiting to be chosen.  


Personality: 
Nicky is a very outgoing young fellow.  In brand new situations, he may hold 
back for about half a minute but then game on!   He is a very curious little 
guy.  He loves people and will soak up as much attention as possible. While 
in his foster home, he slept with his foster mom and did very well with several 
cats (because, of course, he has never been without a cat companion).  Nicky was 
also fostered with a dog and did just fine with her too. He is typically kitten 
in that all objects are potential prey that he needs to stalk and pounce on -- all 
the better if that object is another cat that will play tag and wrestle! 

 

Nicky is currently in the adoption room at Petcetera (that may change so check with 
PAW if you wish to meet him).  He especially likes to play in the little cat tunnel 
there.  The volunteers say that after a play session, he asks for some cuddle time 
on someone's lap.  Many different play objects keep indoor cats well stimulated - tunnels, 
boxes, cat furniture, different things that come in to your home that your cat can safely 
explore.
