Age: Born approx. May, 2002
Gender: Spayed Female.

History: 
Marie was left in a doorway with her sister? friend? Megan.  They were 
in a rubber storage bin with the lid taped on.  There were breathing holes 
punched in the container, but by the time they were discovered at 9 a.m., 
they were wet from their respiration. The Society runs at full capacity and 
so trying to find a place for two more on short term notice is very difficult.  
However, PAW would never see them as anything but valuable and precious and so, 
here they are, cherished and loved like all PAW’s rescued cats.  Megan and Marie 
went to the vet and had their tummies shaved.  It was determined they had been 
previously spayed.  They were also health checked and vaccinated at that time.  
The vet made a guess at their ages, but they could be younger.   




Personality:  
Marie is quite a confident and curious girl.  It did not take her more than a day 
before she wanted to explore the Centre.  She is so cute with her little stumpy tail!   
She is very lovable and has a unique little voice that has a lovely low tone.  She 
is comfortable with being picked up and if another cat gives her the sideways look, 
she stands her ground but then quickly goes about her business.  Life is too short 
and there’s so much to see and do!   PAW would like to see Megan and Marie get adopted 
together because they know each other well.  Their fee would be reduced in the event of a 
bonded pair adoption.
