PAW --> Available Adult Cats --> "Josie"

Name: Josie Color: DSH White with grey tabby accents, dark tail Age: Born approx. July 27, 2004 Gender: Spayed Female. History: At about six months of age, Josie was taken in to the PAW rescue system after she went on a little trip. A fellow that lived on a farm had discovered her under the hood of his truck. Try as he might, the terrified youngster would not come out. When, after three days, it came to the point where he had to use his truck, he drove to Taber with the kitten under the hood. Miraculously, she was still there when he arrived at the Taber Animal Clinic. The clinic staff were able to coax her out. She went on to be adopted through PAW and was in that home for two years. Barnaby was adopted with her. In 2007, one of her people developed health problems and because they could not envision a future that included their pets, both cats were returned to PAW -- a disappointing event for PAW and especially for the cats. Personality: Josie has been in a foster home since mid-2007. She temporarily lives with a person that believes deeply in the rescue philosophy. It is a home that includes several resident cats, a few foster cats and a couple of great, cat-friendly dogs. Josie does very well with the dogs but her foster mom says that just a few less cats would probably suit her better. She likes to drink out of a dripping tap and if she has access to a full laundry basket, she will curl up in there for a long afternoon nap. The people that know this little cat all agree that she is a dear and gentle little soul. She just hasn't caught the break that she so deserves. When she gets chosen by a new family, she would love to sleep on the bed with her person. All she is needs is love.
