PAW --> Available Adult Cats --> "Janny"

Name: Janny Color: DSH Black and White Age: Born April 16, 2007 Gender: Spayed Female. History: Janny is one of Jacalyn's kittens (read her story too). When Jacalyn (a stray) was taken to a vet clinic to be spayed, the vet determined she had given birth within the past twenty-four hours. With a good idea of where the kittens might be, the bylaw person (Taber) found the little family of five kittens, all still alive albeit hungry! They were reunited with their mom after being alone for an entire night and most of the next day. Cats are incredible survivors, even little tiny ones! Personality: When it was discovered that Jacalyn was not a feral cat, she and her kittens were put in a PAW foster home. Janny is the only kitten that has not yet been permanently adopted. She's had a couple of potential homes but they weren't quite right for this quiet and sensitive little girl. Both homes had small children which could have been the common stressor. It is not to say that children were the CAUSE of her stress. It is how some children are allowed to interact with pets that was the likely stressor. Parents need to ensure the pets always feel safe around children who are in the process of learning the necessary skills to treat their pets with respect. Cats with a very gentle nature have a more difficult time defending themselves. Janny is a very lovable little cat and we truly want her to find the perfect guardian. She does exceptionally well in her foster home which she shares with other cats and a friendly dog. She is the kind of cat you need to remember to seek out as she simply waits quietly to be noticed. And when it is her turn for attention, she loves a play session. Laser pointer, little mice, feather teaser, you name it, this young lady knows how to enjoy playtime! If you are attracted to this little cat and her story, we would be willing to place her in your home for a trial period.
