PAW --> Available Adult Cats --> "Jackson"

Big, gold eyes
Name: Jackson Color: DMH Black/Brown and White Tabby Age: Born Approx. May 15, 2006 Gender: Neutered Male. History: Jackson and his two sisters were found with their mother living in an old shed when they were very young. A person in the neighbourhood began feeding them, and they became a managed feral colony. “Managed Colony” means that someone is providing food, water and shelter for the stray cats in the area, most of which are usually unsocialized to people. When Jackson and his sisters were approximately nine weeks old, they were brought indoors and placed in a foster home to socialize them. Of the three kittens, Jackson was the most scared. He has responded well to the love and care in his foster homes, although he is still shy about human contact. Personality: Jackson is a very intelligent and active cat. He has never been without feline companionship and readily accepts new cats into his world. He loves to play, both on his own and with other cats or a person. Jackson does not hesitate to be active in his foster room when a person is present, and is very interactive with his foster mom, but he has not yet made the decision to accept much human contact. Cats like Jackson are the most rewarding cats to share your life with because when they do make the decision to trust, they become very loving and bond deeply with their person. Jackson needs a patient and loving “cat person” that will be able to spend a lot of time helping him to become completely devoted to his person. The reward for this effort will be a lifetime of love and companionship!
