PAW --> Available Adult Cats --> "Docker"![]()
Name: Docker Color: DSH, Brown/Gold Tabby Age: Born June 1, 2007 Gender: Neutered Male. History: Docker and his mom, Darra, were found under a deck in Taber. He was only about six weeks old when they were brought to the attention of the Town's bylaw person in the summer of 2007. Docker had not had any human contact until they were rescued. He was adopted through PAW as a kitten but returned in May, 2008, because of an all too common reason: moving and unable to find a rental that would accept pets. His people had also adopted another PAW cat, Kiki, and she was returned too. Docker's colouring is very striking with his wide brown tabby stripes against a light golden background. Personality: Docker, still just a big kitten. He plays....and plays....and plays some more! Sometimes, he plays a little rough but he doesn't mean it. He simply needs a little re-direction, in a positive way. He loves to play with tennis balls and those little mice. Climbing? -- oh yes, a thrilling activity for an inquisitive, athletic youngster. Docker is being fostered in a home with a couple of dogs and is becoming more and more comfortable around them. There are two resident cats that aren't really interested in playing but Kiki (bless her little heart) indulges him in lots of playing and wrestling. She is an extremely good natured cat. Docker is still a bit shy around his new people. After all, it was shocking to be displaced from the only home he had ever known. But, he is making great progress with his kind, understanding foster family. He comes to his new people for a quick cuddle then is off and running as soon as he thinks up some other adventure to embark upon. He can be a little mischievous too and when you least expect it....he will POUNCE on your feet and then scoot away (laughing, if he could!). ![]()
