PAW --> Available Adult Cats --> "Bruno"

Name: Bruno Color: DMH Gray Tabby with White Age: Born Mar. 15/07 Gender: Neutered Male. History: When Bruno was a little kitten, he was “purchased” from a pet store. Usually in a retail setting, little time is spent in determining whether the “buyer” can offer the pet a lifetime home. When his owner decided to move and not take him with her, she contacted PAW and we agreed to take her six month old cat. That was a lucky thing for Bruno because the city pound would have been the only alternative. Personality: Bruno's life has been quite challenging for him. He has been adopted three times and returned three times. When he goes to a new home, something about that change upsets him and then he has litter box accidents. He needs someone who will work with his issues (not against them!) because his PAW caregivers feel strongly that he can overcome the fear that goes along with change. Even though Bruno does not present as fearful in a new home, cats will often internalize their emotions and litter box problems are often the way they show us that something's not right in their world. It is a cry for help. At the Cat Compassion Centre, he does not have those problems. Maybe because there are lots of litter boxes to use? Maybe he gets more attention there? At any rate, PAW is very willing to work closely with someone if they would just give this sweetheart another chance. We are offering a foster-to-adopt which would give him a trial period in your home. You see, he is such a nice little guy and it is very easy to fall in love with him. The last time he was returned, he was very sad and it took him about a month to regain his happy demeanour.
