PAW --> Available Adult Cats --> "Barnaby"![]()
Name: Barnaby Color: DSH White and Black Age: Born Approx. July, 2003 Gender: Neutered Male History: If it looks like Barnaby is missing a few body parts, you would be right! His tail was broken and frozen and had to be surgically removed. Most of his left ear fell off due to frostbite. He had obviously roamed a rural area for quite some time, possibly was driven out and abandoned in the countryside, before someone took pity on him and participated with PAW in his rescue. Extremely emaciated, he probably would not have survived for much longer. He was adopted through PAW in the spring of 2005, not long after he was returned to health. Sadly, Barnaby was returned in 2007 through no fault of his. Personality: If you want a cat with character, then choose this little guy! He is active and interactive. We weren't sure how he would do at the Compassion Centre, living with so many other cats, but he has found his way with very little difficulty. In fact, he seems to quite enjoy the other cats. He is sturdy, healthy and somehow he still manages to communicate with his little stumpy tail! Barnaby is an easy going, confident gentleman and is very interested in the goings-on of his environment. He likes to perch so his new family would make him a happy boy by providing vertical space so that he get up high. You have to meet this little guy to truly appreciate him.
