Casey

Casey
Color: DSH Solid Charcoal Gray
Age: Born Feb. 15, 2001
Gender: Spayed Female

History:
Casey originally came to the PAW Society in July, 2001, directly from the city pound.  She was just a youngster then and after being in a foster home for a short period, her foster mom decided to adopt her.  Much to our disappointment, Casey was returned to us in May, 2006, after being in that home for almost five years.  Even though she had been well loved, the attachment was temporary.  We try very hard to teach people that adopting a pet is for the rest of the pet's life.  Casey was returned because of a move.  With enough determination and diligence, places to rent with your pets can be found!

Casey

Personality:
This affectionate little girl will quickly wrap herself around your heart, especially when she locks on to your eyes with her big green ones!  Casey was at the Cat Compassion Centre for several months but when the centre closed in the summer of 2008, she was moved to a foster home.  Her foster mom has been overjoyed at Casey’s progress.  Casey wasn’t overly happy when she lived at the centre but now we know it was purely about living with too many cats.  Currently, she lives with two resident cats in her foster home and integrating with them went quickly. From time to time there is the odd other foster kitty that comes to stay and Casey welcomes and accepts the newcomers.  Casey hunts for little treasures in the basement, then proudly carries them upstairs (like rubber gloves and cat toys).  She loves her foster dad too and prefers his side of the bed!  Casey does not yet know that love can last forever but we keep promising her it can.
