NEWS FLASH! BRUNO IS VISITING A HOME ON A TRIAL ADOPTION BASIS! GOOD LUCK BRUN0 --- YOU DESERVE TO HAVE A LOVING, PERMANENT HOME!
History:
When Bruno was a little kitten, he was “purchased” from a pet store. Usually in a retail setting, little time is spent in determining whether the “buyer” can offer the pet a lifetime home. When his owner decided to move and not take him with her, she contacted PAW and we agreed to take her six month old cat. That was a lucky thing for Bruno because the city pound would have been the only alternative.
Personality:
Bruno is a sensitive little fellow. He has been in a couple of different homes, but neither of them were quite right for him. It is sad for everyone, especially the cat, when an adoptive home does not work out. Since the Compassion Centre closed in the summer of 2008, Bruno has been living in a foster home. His foster mom was very attentive to him as he learned to integrate into a home with a relatively large pet family. Best of all for Bruno, he got to start out in the most prized area of the home: the human’s bedroom! He loves sleeping on the bed! Bruno has done remarkably well, likely because his needs were so well attended to. He was welcomed and accepted for who he is. Sensitive cats need lots of reassurance but once they feel safe and loved, their personalities really shine – as has Bruno’s. He is playful and active in his temporary home – a sure sign of a success. For his forever home, we would be willing to place Bruno as a foster-to-adopt where you can have him for a few weeks to see how it goes (with lots of support from PAW).
