Gracie

WOULD YOU LIKE TO FOSTER GRACIE?

Gracie

Description:     DSH Calico & Tabby

Gender:           Spayed Female

Age:                 Adult (born approx. Sept. 2010)

History:

Gracie was noticed several times in a person's backyard over the course of about a week.  What was unusual was that Gracie appeared to be very familiar with the crawl space under the homeowner's deck where she would run to if she saw a person through the window.  The homeowner thought it likely Gracie was an owned cat but yet continued to see her in the backyard and late at night on her front step.  She decided to bring Gracie indoors, fearful that the approaching winter could soon make it much more difficult to capture her if need be. The homeowner fully expected to see posters or other ads indicating someone had lost their young cat but the days went by and no one came forward.  At her health check appointment, the vet shaved Gracie's tummy which showed she had already been spayed.

Personality:

What a sweet, perky little girl she is! Gracie is petite, loving and inquisitive. She is very interested in what you are doing.  She will follow you around, run ahead of you when she's feeling frisky and jump up beside you if you take a moment on the couch. Although her personality is still unfolding, she is a well socialized young cat. She doesn't like to be held for long but enjoys being beside you and loves being petted and talked to. During the night, she takes up a tiny spot at the end of the bed. She shares her current foster home with several cats and the integration has progressed well.  Even though she's the newest and much smaller than the others, she can stand up for herself with no problem.  Gracie uses 'trilling' as her usual means of communication, both with the other cats and her foster family (she even makes those little sounds when she's scratching on the post).  She will be your little buddy. We would be happy to place Gracie in your home on a trial adoption.
