Mika

ADOPTED!

Mika (mee-ka)

Color:               DSH Torbie, light tan and gray, spotted body, stripey legs,                          soft rust markings

Born:                October 4, 2023
Gender:            Spayed Female

History:

Mika is one of five babies born to Emori on the above date. Mika's siblings are Lickorish (F), Azreal (F), Loki (M) and Tuggs (M). Emori was rescued in early September 2023 about half way through a pregnancy and while still caring for her spring litter of three (read Emori's story here).

Personality:

Mika is typical of most little kittens at this age. She bounces from one thought to the next - playing, leaping, crab-walking, batting toys, racing through tunnels and cubes...and always learning. When she tires out, she looks for a lap or a shoulder for a cuddle and a snooze. She's fun and perfect - and wouldn't you agree - very pretty?.

Mika contracted a cold virus which developed into pneumonia but she responded swiftly to antibiotics and was feeling better within seventy-two hours. She was moved to a different foster home for her treatment period and settled in well with all the 'bigs' which includes her three older siblings (Klarra, adopted, Evelyn and Julien). Although they are only five months older than their little sister, they tower over her. Their foster mom thought they were busy - ha! - they are nothing compared to the little blur that's Mika.

UPDATE: Now that Mika's sister, Azreal, has joined her foster family, the fun is non-stop. Julien and Evelyn very much enjoy playing with both of their little sisters.
